I kept these in relative chronological order to show this year's distinctive feature: the women caught and passed the men!
An early break in the women's race forced a fast pace, while the men were content allowing 2 riders a few minutes lead. The women passed the men's peleton, and were only seconds behind the 2 solo lead riders. With the men neutralized, their lead increased, but the peleton quickly caught the leaders once racing was once again allowed.
